9:00 AM Education Hour
Do you wish you could discuss current issues with other thoughtful people of faith, yet avoid the oversimplified labels and stereotypes used in the media? “Faithlink” is a study for use by groups of mature youth and adults who want to apply their United Methodist beliefs to current faith issues and world events. Discussion will be different each week to motivate while considering our personal views on important contemporary issues, and to encourage us to act on our beliefs. The topic of the week will be associated with Bible Passages related to this topic.
10:15 AM Celebrate Worship!
Our primary worship service blends musical styles from ancient to contemporary. Together, we lift our songs and prayers to God, hear the scriptures illuminated for our lives today, and experience the love and grace of Christ. A children’s message is offered early in the service, after which kids too old for the nursery, but too squirmy for worship, are invited to a fun and educational Sunday School experience.
following worship Fellowship Time
Hospitality and community have always been important aspects of Christian life. Our fellowship time features fair trade coffee, so an element of justice (another important aspect of our faith) is merged with this conclusion of our worship experience. We invite you to stay for light refreshments and conversation. Meet our pastor and our members who make North Mason UMC such a wonderful community.
